A cross between Ralls Janet and Red Delicious originating in Japan, Fuji is a high quality variety known for its long storage life. It has firm flesh with a crunchy "sweet- tart" flavor and is great for eating fresh, in salads or used for desserts.

A Fuji apple is definitely worth one last trip to the orchard. If refrigerated, a Fuji should stay firm and crisp well past Christmas. They're ideal for gift baskets.

Jubilee Fuji ripen in early October, and regular Fuji ripen in late October. We've got one original-planting row of Fuji, and we're proud to say that our block of Jubilee Fuji planted in 2000 are bearing fruit.
