Gala

One Gala Apple Three Gala Apples

This is the favorite apple of kids and those with gourmet taste because of its good looks and sweet taste. Gala is distinguished by a fine, firm and crisp texture combined with a sweet, very juicy and spicy rich taste. Medium size, light golden yellow with a pinkish-orange blush. Striking, almost peach-like appearance. Gala's grandparents are Red and Golden Delicious, and Cox's Orange Pippen. Gala is good for all purposes, including raw in salads. Smaller Galas are perfect "lunchbox-sized" snacks for your children.

Gala ripens in early September. It is one of our best-selling varieties, and we have more trees of this type than any other.
