ABOUT THE BAND
Chad Clifford – Chad is the lead singer, acoustic guitarist and songwritter for the band. In addition to fronting the Crawpuppies Chad is also the owner of Front Porch Music and playes many solo acoustic shows in the Midwest.
Mike Curtis – Mike Curtis is the lead guitarist for the Crawpuppies! His hard driving guitar work and amazing tone have shaped the bands sound. His playing features elements of Jimmy Page, The Edge and yet is unique to himself.
Aaron Hedges – Aaron “Hacksaw” Hedges plays bass for the band. His solid relable bass parts are the backbone of the band. He also does the band’s booking.
Chris Karp – aka Karp is the drummer for the band. His excellent meter and classic playing style keep the band steady and in time.
Chris and Lou are mainly a singer/songwriter duo, sometimes branching out into a full band for larger shows, featuring Shane Samaniego on drums.C&L have been professional musicians since their teens, performing all over the midwest. Although most of their performances are in clubs, ther have been a few shining moments. In 2005, as members of the band Electric X, the band’s CD “Radioville” was crowned #1 Regional CD by Midwest Beat Magazine, and teh Northwest Indiana Times. The following year, Chris and Lou were nominated for and EMMY award for co-producing a news promo for NBC5 in Chicago. Along with the EMMY nomination, “Everything Begins With Today”, won several other local and national advertising awards.Currently, Chris and Lou are promoting on their new album titled “Sutain”, released in September of 2009. The title reflects the duo’s ability to sustain themselves over the years, doing what they love most, playing and performing for audiences of all ages and sizes, from all walks of life.New for 2010/2011….C&L will be releasing a new CD containing hard to find fan favorites like The Emperor’s Clothes, Monday Train, and several new songs that have never been released!
