It's Raining Apples!

Dear Orchard Guests,

Unfortunately Mother Nature was not on our side this season.

For the first time since opening in 1984, over 70% of our crop was lost to an early spring, a late frost, and a summer drought.

Many Midwest orchards have experienced the same luck and will not open this season.

County Line Orchard is a special place with many loyal followers. Closing for the season was not an option for our passionate staff so we had to get creative and get to work.

We worked all summer to source apples from other family owned Orchards in the Midwest. It was important to locate like apples grown by similar Orchards.

In order to provide the "experience" and make light of the situation, we decided to make it "Rain Apples". We have installed over 3 miles of apple holding gutters throughout our Orchard and spent over 2,000 man hours stocking them with Orchard quality apples in an effort to allow your family to enjoy an Orchard experience.

Of course the barn, bakery, tractors, kid's farm and other great parts of the Orchard will function as normal.

We are always appreciative of your business and hope that you will recognize the effort that was made and continue to support our staff and their mission to provide your family with the best Orchard experience possible.

Sincerely
County Line Orchard
